Not just for backyard barbecues. The idea is to use your racquet to pass a cone-like object called a “shuttlecock,” or “birdie,” over a tall net. If the birdie hits the ground on your opponent’s side of the court, that’s your point. We’ll leave the shuttlecock jokes to you.
