Bowling

Roll a ball to knock down ̶b̶e̶e̶r̶s pins.

Overview

Roll a heavy ball down a narrow lane to knock down as many pins as possible. You get up to two rolls per turn or “frame.” Each pin is worth one point, but if you knock down all 10 pins, you get bonus points in the following frames. Watch out! The lane is bordered by gutters and if you hit one, that means no points. If you ask the lane attendant nicely, they can hook up the bumpers for you.

Scoring: A “strike” is when you knock down all 10 pins in one attempt. That's worth 10 points on the current frame and the next two frames. A “spare” is when you knock down all 10 pins in two attempts. That's worth 10 points on the current frame and the next frame. A perfect game is 12 strikes in a row (300 points). Three strikes is a turkey and you win a live turkey. Oh, they don’t do that anymore? It's a shame really.
